Bio

2015 (Sophomore):  Hoeferkamp had a strong season as a safety and special teams player.  He had four tackles, a pass breakup and an interception in the season opener against Texas A&M-Kingsville.  He had a 51-yard interception return against Northwestern State.  He made a season high five tackles at Sam Houston State.  He finished the year with five special teams tackles, tied for second on the team.  He was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014 (Freshman):  Hoeferkamp was the Cardinals' special teams ace recording six tackles on punt returns and five on kick returns.  He tied the school record for most special teams tackles in a season with 11.  He was also a backup in the defensive secondary.

High School:  Hoeferkamp was on the football and track teams at Westwood High School.  He led Westwood to an Area Championship.  He was a two-time all-district safety and the special teams MVP.  He was named academic all-district.  He was a member of the National Honor Society.  He recorded 50 tackles and four interceptions as a senior.  He set a school record with five blocked kicks in a season.  He was the track team MVP and an area qualifier in the 100 meters.

Personal:  Hoeferkamp is the son of Rich and Beth Hoeferkamp and is studying business marketing.  He has a brother, Brendon.  He was born on February 6, 1996.
