Lady Warriors Compete in 96th Annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays

The relay team of Addy Sanderville, Violet Hewett, Vivian Garcia and Kenzie McElroy put on a show Saturday, 03/30, on the final day of the 96th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The Warriors relay team took home fourth place in Division II with a time of 47.61 seconds in a field of 43 teams from all over the United States.

They shed almost four-tenths of a second off their preliminary time, which was the fourth fastest among all 12 heats.

In the finals, Sanderville, Hewett, Garcia and McElroy finished as the fastest Class 6A team in the field.

Violet finished third in the girls 100-meter dash Division II breaking a 25 year school record with a time of 11.38 seconds.
