Scotter Loften is an alumni that went to Westwood highschool. After graduating he played a semster of junior Colleage Tennis for Paris junior colleage and after that got some other tennis jobs. Of course being an Alumni meant he had to return to his Highschool to play the Westwood classic in 1989. Once back home he played the head pro from Berry creek which according to him "kicked his butt" ,but in reality the match was close and he played really well. (he was just being too modest).In fact the other guy was so impressed that Mr.Loften got the job as assistant pro at Berry Creek. He played there for two years before taking a job with the amazing coach Dan Weger at spicewood country club. After that he got married to his highchool sweetheart ( Kristi Schriber) and it was a dream come true for him. Later he moved to Houston and continued to play tennis. Scotter Lofton is a prime example what the tennis program can do for people. Being on the tennis team taught him to work hard and pursue is passion. He was very succesful and started his own medical business. He has a wonderful family including 2 daughters and still plays tennis. He enjoyed traveling and playing for westwood and says the team did a lot for him. He is one of the best examples of the Student athletes the Westwood tennis program produces.
