Bio

Robert Sajovich, class of 2007, was part of the Westwood Tennis Team for all four years and was also a letter-winner all four years. During his time at Westwood, he was a mixed doubles regional qualifier. Sajovich’s favorite tennis athlete includes now seeded #1 Rafael Nadal. After graduation, Sajovich headed to UT Tyler but then later switched to Southern Methodist University (SMU) after his sophomore year to study real estate finance as well as to continue his tennis career in college. During his freshman year, Sajovich made it to the quarterfinals in singles at the ITA Regional Championship, and he was also named ASC All conference and ITA West Region Rookie of the Year along with many others. In his sophomore year, Sajovich went 8-1 in singles during the fall and won the ASC Individual Championships. Currently in his Junior year, his overall record is 9-4 in singles and 10-2 in doubles. Sajovich enjoys the competition of tennis in either singles or doubles and wishes to continue playing tennis during the school year
