Bio

Jesse Butler enjoyed playing on the Westwood Tennis Team during his last two years of high school. He distinctly recalls senior year when he make his way to State semifinals with his doubles partner, Jon Brandis, before losing a tough game against a strong Westlake pair. Butler dearly cherishes his time with his teammates and his coach, Coach Hood, mentioning “the good sense of camaraderie on the team”.  Continuing his tennis career, Butler attended Baylor University on a tennis scholarship, where he gladly represented the school while traveling throughout the country for tournaments and matches. Butler advanced to Texas Tech School of Law, leading to his life as an attorney; and though he has not played much tennis in years, he still loves the sport dearly. “I can't think of anything I dislike about tennis.  I think it's such a brilliant and beautiful sport” Butler comments. He plans to pass his love for tennis to his two young children of ages two and four.
