Alec Baskerville was top 15 in the state at his highest, won a regional tournament to represent Texas, and represented Texas every year at the Zonals team tournament. The Westwood line #1 senior played some of the top players in the country at the Oracle ITA Masters tournament in Malibu, California. In addition to hanging out in Malibu, he was able to meet several college coaches & also former pros (Tracy Austin, Lindsey Davenport & Tommy Haas) all whom were there for this tournament. He is not currently playing collegiate tennis, but is a tennis coach. “While at Westwood coach describes me as the best team player he’s ever had and I remind myself of that every night. I’m currently attending UTD studying psychology in order to become a therapist!”
