Samantha was born on August 3, 2007, in Austin, Texas. Her parents are Anna Lam and Raymond Tang; they work as a realtor and software engineer. Samantha wants to major in character animation. She has a sister, Amanda, who is a sophomore, and a dog named Bailey. She likes to read, draw, and paint in her free time.

As a Freshman
Played line 3 on JV and eventually went on to win the JV Girl’s Singles District Title in the spring. Shortly after, she got moved up to varsity.

As a sophomore
She supported the team to another state title.

As a junior
Supported the team to their first back-to-back state title.
