Warrior Golf garners many accolades to start 23-24 season

Westwood Golf started the 23-24 season off with multiple Top-2 finishes, including many wins.

In September, Westwood Girls and Boys Golf BOTH placed 1st and 2nd at their first home tournament of the year at Balcones Country Club!

Cameron Hobbs led the Boys JV team in the Westlake Invitational with a personal best score of 77

Then, on October 3rd, Varsity Girls Golf took home second place at the Lake Travis Shootout led by junior Eve Swanson, who placed 2nd individually with a score of 77

On October 10th, the girls team placed 2nd at the Burnet Fall Classic with a team score of 354, led by sophomore Ruby Jones (84).

On October 16th, the boys varsity team also placed 2nd at the Burnet Fall Classic with a team score of 304. Jonathan Kim led with a score of 74

Also on October 16th, the girls team WON the Rouse Invitational with a total of 80 points (Stableford scoring). Payton Kienitz shot a personal best 72 (+31) to win the entire tournament. Lauren Phelan won 2nd place with a score of 80 (+20) and Eve Swanson won the Closest-to-the-Pin contest!
