What sports do you play for Westwood ?

What is your best memory you have had playing for the Warriors?

My best memory playing for the warriors is the team dinners that we have every Thursday. The team meets at someone’s house to eat together before our friday district games. These dinners always bring the team together as a family. These nights are always very fun and I look forward to them during the season.

What is the best thing about being a Warrior Athlete?

The best thing about being a Warrior Athlete is being able to represent my school. I feel a sense of pride when I go out every single morning on the court to practice. Westwood is a very special place to me and I feel honored representing my school.

What is your favorite thing about Westwood High School?

My favorite thing about Westwood is the community in the school. I feel that anyone and everyone, is connected in some sort of way. There is a strong sense of togetherness at Westwood. What makes this even more impressive is that Westwood has so many different sports, clubs, classes, etc, that people can join or be a part of.

What is your favorite class and teacher at Westwood?

My favorite class was APES, but, my favorite teacher has to be Mr. Shaw

What teams do you root for outside of the Warriors?

I always root for the Texas Longhorns and the San Antonio Spurs

What is the best advice someone has given you?

Honestly, the best advice I’ve been given is to keep your head up and keep pushing. I’ve overcome a few obstacles in my Westwood career that I have had to just be patient about and push through.

What advice would you give to someone that wants to be a Warrior Athlete?

No matter what obstacles you face, don’t stop and keep working hard. Don’t work hard for others to see but rather for yourself to see improvement.
