The 2023-2024 season is Coach Madison Smith’s fourth season at Westwood High School and first season as the Head Coach. Smith graduated from Cedar Ridge High School in 2013 as part of the first graduating class and was the Varsity Volleyball Captain during the 2010-2012 seasons.

She attended Texas A&M University where she earned her degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences and played a season of club volleyball as an Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist. During college, she started her coaching career at St. Joseph’s Catholic School as an Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach, Head Middle School Girls Volleyball, and Track Coach. After graduating from A&M, she became the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach and Assistant Track Coach at Providence Classical School from 2018-2020. She is currently a club sponsor of Westwood Beach Volleyball.

Smith is looking forward to building a strong volleyball program at Westwood and a bright future for Warrior Volleyball!
