Faces off the field: Ethan Brown
Q: Tell me something about the first time you played organized football.
A: In third grade I was a Warrior for Town & Country football. We made it all the way to state, and we got to play in Baylor Stadium (Floyd Casey). I also remember my coach yelling at me for wearing crazy socks.
Q: What do you enjoy most about the sport of football?
A: The legacy. I'm the third Brown brother to play varsity football for Westwood. My brothers and I have many late-night talks about our days on the field.
Q: When it comes to football and academics, which one is most important to you?
A: Academics. It's the only road at Westwood.
Q: What has been your favorite football memory at Westwood?
A: Singing rap songs on the bus with my friends after we win games.
Q: Outside of football, what do you like most about high school?
A: Basketball. I'm very lucky that I'm able to play varsity basketball as well. So really, it's still sports.
Q: If you could have dinner with four people in the history of the world, who would they be?
A: I would choose Winston Churchill, Teddy Roosevelt, Odell Beckham Jr. and Stephen Curry
Q: Why did you choose President Roosevelt?
A: He was a hammer. Fearless. He did what he needed to do to get things done.
Q: Tell me something most people don't know about you.
A: I've been in (Air Force) Junior ROTC all four years at Westwood.
Q: What has been your favorite vacation?
A: Skiing with my friends last year at Winter Park in Colorado.
Q: Do you have plans after you graduate?
A: I plan to attend the United States Naval Academy. As far as playing football again, I'll have to ask the Magic 8-Ball.
Q: Do you have any pregame rituals?
A: Eating Skittles with my homies on the D-line.
