Bio

Coach Thailing is entering his first year being a part of the Westwood Volleyball Program.  This will be his 27th year in education, ten of those years at Westwood High School.  He currently coaches volleyball and softball at Westwood.  He received his bachelor's degree from Baylor University and his Masters of Education from Lamar University.  Over the course of his career he has coached football, softball, soccer, basketball, track and yes even a couple years of middle school volleyball.  

Coach Thailing is married to Jessica Thailing, ITS at McNeil high school, and together they have three children that either have graduated from Westwood or are currently attending Westwood.  Michael (19), Joshua (17) and Abby (15).  He is looking forward to a great volleyball season and helping the program in any way possible.
