Player of the Week: R.J. Martinez, Westwood

The Warriors quarterback burst onto the scene in his debut with five total touchdowns in a resounding 38-21 victory over East View. R.J.Martinez completed 21 of 32 passes for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns while also scoring three rushing touchdowns. Nine of his passes went to Matt Pravednikov for 123 yards. Westwood (1-0) piled up 466 yards of total offense, and the Warriors offensive line dominated opening holes for a pair of 100-yard rushers in Mario Debs and Nate Anderson.

Loyden hauled in 5 passes for 162 yards, 2 touchdowns. … McNeil (0-1) lost in the last second to Del Valle 36-33, but quarterback Zane Kampfer threw for 311 yards and accounted three total touchdowns. … Vista Ridge (0-1) lost to Rouse 34-13.
